Wi-Fi Calling For Nexus One - February 13, 2011 I?ll try to be short? Nexus One. Wi-Fi. Calling. Import. Ye, looks complicated even for me and my boss says that this is not the best way to share the information. Well, here is the thing: with the help of CyanogenMod 7 and the hard work of Unforgiven512 and T-Mobile and those who?ve created Wi-Fi we are able to make almost free Wi-Fi calls with our Samsung Nexus One. The thing that we are talking here is that now those who have purchased a Nexus One smart-phone are able to make routing calls through the existing home Wi-Fi, and not VoIP calling. This thing works exactly like on MyTouch 4G or any other T-Mobile Android phone. Also, keep it in mind that Wi-Fi calling on Android still uses voice minutes but I have to say that it is a great battery saver and makes calls outside the T-mobile service area pretty cheap. But to make it work you will need an active -Mobile SIM card inserted. Featured Cell Phone News
