Trebuchet Launcher is ICS based CyanogenMod 9

One of the main reasons why we root our devices and install custom ROMs is a great possibility of making them better. I still remember those times when my smart-phone was running Android 2.1 clair but Gingerbread was already out for others. So, I pulled myself together and did my best not to turn my smart-phone into a brick. Well, everything went even better than I thought! Of course, installing unofficial ROMs doesn?t mean that you will get something totally working and 100% stable! But at the same time even official ROMs are not perfect and, sometimes, can be even more unstable than unofficial. But this is not what I was trying to say. I hope you know that Cyanogen team is now working on CyanogenMod 9 project and it means that we can expect CyanogenMod 9 based ROMs being available soon. But together with the ICS based CyanogenMod 9 we should also be glad to get Trebuchet launcher. It?s something totally new and happens to be a perfect combination of regular features given at its ?birth? and expanded features brought by creative fellows from Cyanogen team. But if you want to have this Launcher on your device, you are supposed to: - be rooted; - run Android 4.0.3; - have some command line skills. Also, Trebuchet launcher is on alpha stage, so, only some of its features are included. But, of course, more will be added soon.
