Toshiba Thrive Receives Android 3.2
By Fred Salva

The Toshiba Thrive Android tablet is a nice device even despite the fact that we do not talk much about it. So, the good news for you, Thrive owners, are that your favorite tablets receives Android 3.2 Honeycomb update. We are not able to tell if the Thrive will be updated by the latest Android 4.0 ICS in the future but what I can tell for sure ? its specs are capable to handle the ICS. Anyway, the latest update: - Enables an improved compatibility mode enhancing the way applications originally designed for smaller screen devices appear and function on the larger tablet display. - Improves screen rotation acceleration. - Adds extended screen support API, giving developers more precise control over the user interface across a range of Android-powered devices. With the help of Thrive?s update application you can get the update mentioned on your device. Also, if you are using the Android Market widget do not get surprised when it disappears ? it?s normal. Just create another one and everything should be fine.
