Well, on the one hand it is a great idea to release something that will look and act exactly like a netbook but will be running Android OS. And this is what Toshiba has released recently. As you can see on the image, this device is a total netbook but is running Android 2.2 Froyo operating system. By the way, device?s name is Toshiba AC100 and you will pay $275 for Wi-Fi version. But if you want a 3G one, you can purchase it for some extra $50. Together with Android market Toshiba AC100 supports Toshiba Market Place that is not that good but still has some interesting offers. Moreover, we were promised to expect a ?noticeable performance boost? from Carrypad folks so stay tuned for some updates. To be frank, I do not support this kind of experiment but I am not the one to decide. In my head a tablet is a tablet and a laptop is a laptop. And here is short video review of this gadget ? enjoy.
