You know, my present smart-phone has better specs than my last laptop I used to have for a couple of years, so, it is not wild to see them running things like a PC version of Windows OS or, for example, Linux. Of course, you can?t just flash your Android device and use .exe files to install Windows XP or Windows 7. But what you can do is to spend a couple of days, weeks or even months and achieve your goal. Thomas Polasek, a well known, in certain circles, developer has made a decision to install Arch Linux on his Nook Color. Well, the good news is that he really managed to do that kind of thing. Not only can you see Nook Color running Linux very smoothly but also with the help of female-to-female USB adapter connect a keyboard and mouse. I am not sure if this has any practical usage right now but after a certain optimization things might appear to be very useful.
