Yahoo Mail and Messenger hit Android Market - IMDb too!

Android users who are still using their Yahoo mail accounts and Yahoo messenger are in luck. Now you can quickly keep tabs on your Mail, as well as your Yahoo Messenger contacts. Yesterday Yahoo made a launch of Android applications for both Yahoo Mail and Messenger. They both come with a handy new mobile-search widget. These applications will be free for download on the Android Market.

Both Yahoo Mail and Yahoo Messenger have special features such as pop-up notifications for Android, the syncing of Android and Yahoo address books, and even being able to attach photos from your camera and photo gallery. IMDb has also launched an application for users which will allow the ability to browse and search it’s database of movies and TV shows. Anyone will be able to look up times of local movies and TV shows. All of these applications are available to download free on the Android Market. [cnet]
