Today - Microsoft has released it’s Microsoft Tag App for Android. This app has been around for quite some time for Windows Mobile now. Microsoft Tag codes are similar to QR codes that you see under some of these articles and other phone websites, but the MS Tags can hold more information. The problem is: When everyone is finally getting comfortable with QR codes, Microsoft has to go and set yet another standard, and of course, expect people to adapt to it. In order to read the codes, you need to download the Microsoft Tag Reader - and the program cannot even scan QR codes - so it is only useful with MS Tags.
