By suspicion we can say that the Samsung Epic 4G will be releasing on August 20th. This is being based on Samsung's SPSTV site airing the Epic 4G infomercial that day. For the last two Galaxy S phones, the Vibrant and the Captivate, infomercials have been posted on on the SPSTV site the day they are released. None of this is official news from Samsung but it seems highly likely that the phone will be released on August 20th considering these conditions. The Vibrant video was posted on July 21st, not the release date of the phone. Although if we remember back the 21st was the original release date. The phone was released early on July 15th to better compete with the Droid X release. This is enough information for me to believe that the phone will be released on August 20th. And even if the phone isn't released on the 20th, that should be very close to the actual release date of the phone. The Samsung Epic 4G will be the only Galaxy S phone that is 4G and the only one sporting a physical QWERTY keyboard! Keep your fingers crossed! Source
