Last week knowledge of the HTC Ace was leaked thanks to a retailer roadmap. The latest in this weeks rumors state that the HTC Ace is actually called the HTC Desire HD. The Desire HD is rumored to be filled with HD upgrades from the orginal HTC Desire. Further rumors claim that the HTC Desire HD will be arriving in the UK in October 2010.
The Specifications as rumored by the site SuperETrader show that the phone will be HTC's new flagship device. According to rumor the device will have a: 4.3 inch WVGA touchscreen, 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, 8 MP camera, 720p HD video recording, Xvid playback, and 4 GB internal memory. Along with these features the phone should have SRS surround sound support, the ability for the camera to auto track faces, and Adobe Flash 10.1. As for the actual design of the phone it is unknown - the rumor does report however that the phone will feature a "uni-body aluminium design". With such little information as that the phone could look like anything! The phone seems to be just another high end HTC phone mimicking all of its other devices that they have produced this year.
Will this be HTC's new leading device and are these specifications correct? No one knows. Always be weary of rumors.
