It seems there is a new update going around from T-Mobile. My G1 is still running the archaic RC28 version but I am waiting for the upgrade. It should only take about 5 minutes and a couple of reboots. Who really knows what the fixes are but probably has to do with OS stabilization, and bug fixes.
Out with the old and in with the new updated RC29.
