Motorola has announced another great device that seems very similar to the Motorola i1. The i1 was a tough and rugged phone and the Defy isn’t going to disappoint (we hope). With a current launch date of Q4 in the European Markets the Motorola Defy is to be sporting some really nice and up to date features such as Android 2.1(2.2 coming?). Other Features include an OMAP 3610 chip running at 800MHz, 3.7-inch screen is going to be made of Gorilla Glass as well. An update from Motorola has announced that the Swype style Keyboard will be default on the phone. This is a really good thing as Motorola makes a really great device however their keyboards have always left me wanting more. All of these different features combine to make the Motorola Defy able to be submersed into water up to one meter (3 feet) for an approximated time of 30 minutes. So if you are a habitual beach goer or sun bather by the pool, this might be the phone for you.
