LG Has officially announced that they will be releasing an Android Tablet. This is great news for Android fans who have been waiting for the big manufacturers to break into the market - currently being stuck with one option - the iPad. According to the Wall Street Journal, the LG Tablet could be in stores by Christmas season. Of course, competition will be closely cut with how unexpectedly well the Apple iPad has done thus far.
Android OS is definitely a worthy rival of Apple, although Apple has had much more time in development than Google has with it's products. I would say that it is safe to assume that a tablet produced by LG which will run on the Android OS will sparkle in the market, to say the least. Although Windows 7 is also a definite rival, already being pre-installed on tablet and netbooks PCs, Google's open-source free OS should make a good release in tablet form. [inquirer]
