AT&T has just added the HTC Aria to it's repertoire of Android devices. I must admit that the Aria is more impressive than the Motorola Backflip, AT&T's other Android-based device, but the facts still remain that the Aria really isn't very impressive in the overall scheme of Android phones. The majority of specs that it features are in-line with last year's devices, and the HTC Aria really stands no chance when pinned up against a comparison against a device like the HTC EVO 4G.
To be quite honest, it seems like AT&T has put all it's bets on the iPhone line of devices - without that Apple product, AT&T really has nothing to offer when compared to Verizon, Sprint, or T-Mobile. With talk of the end of iPhone exclusivity coming soon, I'd say that AT&T had better start releasing some higher-end devices, because when Verizon or T-Mobile gain access to the Apple iPhone, it really seems like AT&T is going to be at it's most Vulnerable point that it's seen in years, and without a line of more impressive devices, who knows what kind of downfall we may see of this once high-flying provider.
