Google Shorthand Application out for Android

If you’ve ever heard of the Application called “Gesture Search”, this is what we’re talking about here. It basically allows you to write shorthand in order to quickly skim through the phone and land at your destination. Gesture Search allows users quickly find a contact, bookmark, application, or music track from hundreds of items on your phone - and all it requires you to do is draw an alphabetic gesture on the screen with your finger. Right now, it is a separate application that must be downloaded from the marketplace - but if this feature was integrated into the Operating System - it would be a great improvement. The Gesture Search App supports English and requires the use of Android 2.0 or above. [Phandroid]
