About Travis Lelle

Something we all could use (at least all of us who can legally drive) is the somewhat psychic ability to know where someone has just pulled their car from a parking spot, thus rendering the spot empty and ready for any passerby to use at their own disposal. Well, Google can't give you the psychic ability to know these things, but they can give you something close - Open Spot.
Open spot is an application created for Android 2.0 and up which allows you to actually see where there is an open parking space in any parking lot when reported by other open spot users. The jist of it is, you've got an android phone (and you use Openspot) and pull into a parking space. You want to go shopping, so you enter the mall for a couple hours, then when you're back in your car - right before you pull out - you press 'Mark a Spot' in Google Open Spot. Now, other Open Spot users can look at their phone and see that the spot which was just occupied by your Green Honda Civic has just become vacant, and they now have their new parking space. Great application - useful only if it were to catch on though. [slipperybrick]
