We may not have a rotating carousel of clothes just like what we seen in Clueless of Alicia Silverstone, but still we can have it by downloading an application.  Gap StyleMixer can be a digital closet wherein you can see your stored pants, tops and your accessories as well then mixed and match it any way you want.

SytleMixer was created for frequent Gap shoppers and those who’s a fan of other outlets.  Any one who downloads the application can browse through tops, jeans, shorts, dresses, jackets and shoes that were being sold by Gap.  This will then be stored in a digital closet with tags or you can put notes and edit afterwards.

User may have the option of taking photos of your wardrobes and utilize the Mixer to mix and match it.

Aside from being a digital closet, StyleMixer also act as an online shop application since you can shop gender specific clothes straight from the application, you may as well locate nearest Gap branches near you by using this application, is kind of slow at times but overall feature of the application would be very useful for people who cares for fashion.

The beta version of TweetDeck has been available to all the users these past two months and now after pulling in about 36,000 beta testers and got 11 updates, they have finally seen fit to give the application 1.0 status and officialy launch it in the Market.

This TweetDeck has a very marvelous visuals and operated smoothly and intuitively.  Another edge of this application is that users will have the ability to update and view not just your Twitter but also your Facebook, Foursquare and Buzz.

They have received a lot of feedbacks with regard to the application so its most likely that application will go forward.  They have the plans of updating the application which would focus on improving landscape support, add deeper Facebook integration and enhance more support for multiple accounts.

Another interesting side note on this TweetDeck application is that Android Application is the first to get new features not shown in iPhone and iPad.

Wow!  This has just been released last Friday and surely this game has been a hit from GetJar.  Who would have thought that this game will ever hit 2 million downloads and was just released few days ago?  But one thing’s for sure, this game can be downloaded at zero cost.

Rovio has mentioned that game has been downloaded 2 million times, although he did not told us if they are counting via Android Market only or GetJar, or even combined Market and GetJar Downloads.

Angry Birds was launched last Friday and can be downloaded via GetJar, a third party application market. It has come to our attention that GetJAr was even down Friday morning hence people need to install files to the mirrors so consumers could get their hands on, then on the afternoon, game has just hit the Android Market.

It still been a question as to why Rovio has chose to launch the game first to GetJar rather than the Android Market, however,  Angry Birds still became a hit even if some people have a hard time installing the game.

In order to get more users hooked to the Angry Birds phenomena, Rovio, the developer of the game, has decided to bring the most popular and addicting game to Android Application free of charge.  The said application will be available this month, users can get the app via Android Market or hands on at GetJar which is an application hosting site.

This application is a game where you throw birds characterized with different powers at pigs that are surrounded by destructible buildings.  The main point of the game is to destroy pigs before you run out of birds, the game sounds crazy but trust me, one you start, you just can’t stopped.

It’s a bit strange as to why Rovio has decided to go with the 3rd party application such as GetJar especially that download and services are not available to some of the mobile site such as HTC Incredible.  I did not say that Android Market doesn’t have any glitches but compare to GetJar, games will be a little hard to get.

Please get a copy of Angry Birds and play at your own risk., it’s very addicting, I told you.

Finding your way around the town is more cheaper for people who wants a GPS application other than Google Maps.   ALK has launched new version of their navigation application which is called CoPilot Live USA, all in a price of $4.99.

This application has a turn-by-turn voice navigation and a large database of map data that is available even if you’re not connected to the internet.  Maps are downloaded to your device and will be shown in 3D, or you can choose whatever mode you would want, this will also show real-time traffic information, weather forecasts and showcases points of interest, however for these features you need to connect it to the web.

We all know that Google Map is more fitted for Android Users, it’s the most well known application as well but if you want a good alternative, better voice guide and offline support, you may try CoPilot USA for the cost of $4.99.

Now, people can deposit their moneys straight from their phone without entering or going to your designated bank.

Yes, you heard it right, State Farm Pocket Agent application which is available to Android 1.5 and higher makes it possible to deposit your money through your Android phone.  How would this work?  User should endorse their check and photograph it with an onscreen position guide then will just wait for the State Farm notification that your check has been deposited.

On the Spot deposit has not limit with regard to the number of checks that can be deposited, however, check maximum value is $10,000.  User should have a registered StateFarm.com account to be able to use the feature of Pocket Agent, on the other hand, this will work with Money Market Account, Checking, Savings and Interest Checking.
