I really don't understand, at this point, how any person or group of people can compare the 'popularities' of Android versus iPhone, or vice versa. Honestly, how can you compare a 3-year-old technology to one that hasn't even been popular for a year? First off, it's not a fair comparison, as iPhone has had over 3 times longer to amass a fanbase of people who now know none other than iOS...

I know that the one Application that I've been wanting to download on my device has been a Torrent remote that will allow me to start downloads on my computer from a remote location. I've browsed the market, and even found some good selections - by that I mean stable programs - but the problem doesn't really rest on the solidity of the program itself, but my trust in a foreign program having...

We all went crazy over the Motorola Droid, so it is only natural that Motorola would make a more versions of this highly popular device - after all - look what they did with the RAZR. But all failures aside, it seems that Motorola is taking necessary steps to release the new Motorola Droid X this summer, according to Boy Genius Report. First - the Droid X will be surfacing sometimes in July,...

AT&T has just added the HTC Aria to it's repertoire of Android devices. I must admit that the Aria is more impressive than the Motorola Backflip, AT&T's other Android-based device, but the facts still remain that the Aria really isn't very impressive in the overall scheme of Android phones. The majority of specs that it features are in-line with last year's devices, and the HTC...

It was bound to happen eventually, Android Froyo 2.2 has been successfully installed onto an iPhone 3G. This is the first time that the Froyo build has been placed on an iPhone - previously the Eclair build was working properly on one. Most of the main functions work for now - all but the Wi-Fi, Audio, and the phone's GPU - all of which the team is working on currently.
The dev team who...

We've finally arrived to the Month of Android, as many are calling this June - (WOW it's June already...) - and one of the most highly anticipated devices of the year, the HTC EVO 4G, will be hitting the shelves on June 4th. When I was in Vegas this year for the CTIA 2010 conference, I got the chance to look at and play with this device, and I can tell you firsthand that it's one hell of...

Good news for Android Users, but bad news for the Amazon Kindle - Amazon is releasing a Kindle Application for Google's Android OS. It seems that Amazon is finally realizing that most people are not going to be buying an extra device in addition to their smartphone, so Amazon has gotten a little 'smarter' themselves and created an application in which users can purchase for download e-books and...

Have you never used an Android Device, you don't know anyone who has one that will let you try theirs out, but you're hearing so much hype about them and just want a basic idea of how they work. It may not exemplify the top-line devices out there, but I have stumbled upon a G1 Emulator on a T-Mobile website that allows you to perform some basic functions on the phone and see simulated...
