HTC has plans to ship the Android-based G1 to Asia during the 1st half of 2009. A company called Kogan announced plans to release an Android based phone before the holiday season. Little is known about the company and we eagerly await news to see if Android will be represented Down Under.
Asia on the other hand will be receiving the HTC G1during the first half of 2009. Asia is gobbling up the G1 via eBay by the hordes so if that is any indication HTC will do well in the East. We are glad to hear that the Android Trek across the world is going well.
