Ice Cream Sandwich Wins Parson's School of Design's User Experience Awards
By Jerry Carrion

This serves as great news for all those apart of Google's User Experience team. In fact, it's an even greater win for recent Google acquisition, Palm WebOS UI Guru Matias Duarte. This man was single hand of many, led to lead the User Experience team in the development of Google's Ice Cream Sandwich. All the hard work however seems to have paid off, as this stock build of Android has gone on to win the Sandwich Wins Parson's School of Design's User Experience Gold Prize for best platform experience. This is a big honor, as it is the first version of Android to win any type of user experience award. Many can agree that Ice Cream Sandwich is the first build that not only boasts of complexity, but also aesthetic elegance. We highly applaud this work, as we’re not a particular fan of the various skins that each manufacturer loads to their Android device before release.
