Desktop Google Play Music Gets New Features
By Fred Salva

Google is known for making great things but at the same time leaving some place for creative additions. As a rule, every next Google product has lots of great features but also misses one of the most important which makes it, already, not that great after all. Well, as a rule technological misunderstanding are improved in future beta testing and else and pretty much the same was made with a Desktop Google Play Music service which now introduces the following features: Desktop Notifications - Find out what's playing without having to switch back to your Google Music tab. A notification will appear at the start of each song with the song title, artist name, album title, and album cover. This lab only works in the Chrome browser. HTML5 Audio - Listen to your music without the need for Flash. Works in all browsers that support MP3 playback with HTML5 audio: Chrome, Safari 3.1+, and IE 9+. 5-Star Ratings - Rate songs on a 5-star scale rather than thumbs-up or thumbs-down.
