
Here's is an interesting tip. Did you know that Android 2.2 is installed on one-thirdof all Android phones? I didn't know that, but that is˙interesting to know about. Google has released a pie chart (as shown in the picture above) of Android distribution figures. As it shows, Android 2.2 is one-third, while Android 2.1 is taking control over the market while being over at 40%. Also, this chart is revealing the Froyo is becoming more well known.
Another chart shows suggestions for the developers the percentage of the Android devices that a application will be well matched. An example of this would be, if there was an app that was developed for Android 2.2 and just only that operating system for the phone, then only 33% of Android phones will have this app.
Wouldn't it just be wonderful if there was an app developed that worked with all of the Android phones?˙ Then you would have reached 100%. This is the general idea.
